Fauci Says COVID-19 Could Reach Level of 1918 Spanish Flu, the ‘Mother of All Pandemics’

Is there any way to shut this guy up?  His doomsday scenarios are causing panic and are becoming increasingly detached from reality. He’s drunk with power, increasingly addicted to the spotlight.  Approx. 5% of the worlds’s population died in the 1918 Spanish Flu pandemic, 50 to 100 million.  Fauci NOW says that COVID-19 “has the makings of, the possibility of approaching that in seriousness”.  What would that mean?  There have been 680,000 deaths worldwide due to COVID-19 thus far in 2020. There were 1.8 billion people in 1918. The world’s population is now 7.8 billion.  That would be the equivalent of 390 million people dying of COVID-19 in 2020!!!  That is simply not possible, and proves that this latest Fauci “prediction” is nothing more than the rantings of an unhinged lunatic.

The Spanish Flu—caused by an unusually deadly strain of influenza—was the most severe pandemic in modern history, infecting an estimated 500 million people, which amounted to about a third of the world’s population at the time.

“If you look at the magnitude of the 1918 pandemic where anywhere from 50 to 75 to 100 million people globally died, that was the mother of all pandemics and truly historic. I hope we don’t even approach that with [COVID-19] but it does have the makings of, the possibility of approaching that in seriousness,” Fauci, who heads the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID,) said during a Georgetown University Global Health Initiative webinar, according to CNN.
