Business district “village”.
I live in Portland, OR. Portland is beautiful this time of year. But not this year. This year, Portland looks like Sarajevo in Bosnia – indistinguishable from a failed Balkan state. All statues and parks destroyed; historic buildings defaced beyond all recognition; every fountain or statue of any type toppled, smashed or burned; homeless urinating all over the streets, camped out in makeshift “villages” around the city. Portland will never come back from this. The City Council and Mayor do not have the stomach to stop the carnage. And the populace is too far gone – indoctrinated in “wokeness” to the Nth degree. Bye, bye Portland. Bye, bye.

PORTLAND, Ore. — The Portland Business Alliance has released a statement detailing economic damages due to riots in the last few weeks. The numbers come from a survey conducted with downtown business owners.
PBA says the downtown area has lost more than $23 million – $4 million from physical damages, and $18 million in lost revenue.

30 square blocks boarded up; stores looted and destroyed.
We recognize that the information below and attached provides a snapshot and narrative of the economic damage,” said Amy Lewin, Vice President of Strategic Communications with the PBA. “However, we clearly recognize that systemic racism is the root cause of the community outrage resulting in ongoing demonstrations. We stand with our community members’ expression of frustration.
